Seattle Pioneer Square Art Walk

Every first Thursday of the month, there is an Art Walk at the Pioneer Square in Seattle. Pioneer Square is a historical neighborhood with a unique combination of different types of arts and architecture. There are totem poles and statues in the same aesthetic. This seagull decided the head of this statue was a pretty good place to scope out the area.

Along the street there are booths with individual arts and crafts of local artists. Many of the galleries also open their exhibits to the public for free.

I loved this glass candle holder. It had such beautiful colors to it, and it was interesting to see such a broad holder for a small candle.

You can also watch glass blowing at Glasshouse studio. It was really interesting to watch artists heat up and shape the glass.

Keep an eye out for interesting designs of the buildings as well. This one reminds me of a cornucopia.
